Ehiogu was rushed to hospital on Thursday after collapsing at the Tottenham Hotspur training ground, where he coached their under 23 team.

Tottenham announced on Friday morning that Ehiogu had died after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Ehiogu spent a month on loan at Elland Road from Middlesbrough in the winter of 2006, making six appearances for the club and he scored in the 2-2 draw against Barnsley.
