Leeds United chairman Ken Bates has revealed that the club have turned down bids from two unnamed premiership sides.

Bates speaking on Yorkshire radio said “We explained to both clubs that we do not deal in petty cash and they were premiership clubs as well”

The 19 year old midfielder continues to be linked with a number of premiership clubs during the transfer window, as yet nobody has come in with a bid anywhere near Leeds valuation of the England under 21 international, they are still making it clear that they do not wish to sell him at any price.

Bates continued “We don’t want to sell Fabian, ‘He’s happy, we’re happy for him to stay and unless something unexpected out of the blue happens which we can’t forecast we want him to take us back into the Premier League.’

With just over two weeks of the transfer window still to go we wait to see if there will be any further developments.
