Whilst Leeds United are still pondering whether to sign trialist Mikael Forssell the Finland striker played a key part in Finland`s win over Moldova.

Forssell netted his 26th national goal from the penalty spot as Finland beat Moldova 4-1 in their Euro 2012 qualifier.

The 30 year old made it 3-0 when he sent the Moldovan goalkeeper the wrong way from the spot.

Forssell was also involved in two of the other three goals scored by Finland.

Kasper Hamalainen opened the scoring for Finland, when Forssell`s near post-flicked header, was put in at the far post by Hamalainen.

The striker was also involved in Finland`s fourth goal when he put Moldovan defender Igor Armas under pressure at the far post and he could only divert the ball into his own goal.

Leeds have yet to make a decision on the former Chelsea and Birmingham City striker who spent last season with Bundesliga side Hannover96 before being released at the end of last season.
