Leeds United will not be offering a deal to trialist goalkeeper Darjan Curanovic.

The 27-year-old Slovenian has been having a trial with Leeds whilst the club have been in the country but Leeds boss Brian McDermott will not be offering him a deal.

Last season`s number two, Jamie Ashdown is still struggling with injury. Ashdown was forced to miss the end of last season after requiring surgery on his foot and McDermott says Ashdown is struggling to overcome the injury.

Young goalkeeper Alex Cairns, who spent last season on loan at non-league side Stalybridge Celtic, played the 90 minutes for Leeds in Saturday`s 2-1 defeat to FC Domzale.
