The opening day clash at Southampton will now kick off at teatime for the live TV cameras.

The game at St Mary`s stadium will now kick off at 5.20pm on Saturday August 6th.

It is the second season in a row that Leeds have kicked off their season at teatime on Saturday, after their opening day fixture against Derby last season was shown live by the BBC.

Leeds chairman Ken Bates asked last week for the TV companies to give the club a break after choosing eleven games for live coverage last season.
