Robert Snodgrass will sit out Leeds trip to Hartlepool on Saturday with an ankle injury after playing through the pain barrier in the last few weeks.

Snodgrass has been in fantastic form for the Whites since earning a regular starting place in the side in November and was just beaten in the recent Leeds United`s Player of the season awards by Jermaine Beckford.

With Leeds now definitely qualified for the Play Offs a number of first team players could earn a rest with Simon Grayson not willing to risk any players who have knocks.

It is thought that Snodgrass will be back for the final game of the season against Northampton.
