Robert Snodgrass has missed out on a call up to the Scotland squad for their friendly with Wales on November 14th after the squad was announced today by Scotland boss George Burley.

The 22 year old earned his first call up last month for Scotland`s friendly in Japan but had to pull out after picking up a injury in Leeds game with Carlisle United.

The midfielder returned to the Leeds side after missing three games through the injury and as played in Leeds last four games.

The Glasgow born midfielder has won caps at both under 20 and under 21 level but looks like having to wait a little while longer before making his full international debut.

With Scotland failing to qualifying for the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa, boss George Burley will be looking to rebuild his side before Euro 2012 qualifiers start in September 2010.

Scotland`s next friendly will be against the Czech Republic in March at Hampden Park and Snodgrass will be hoping to carry on with his impressive form at Leeds and put himself firmly in the plans of Burley.
