Robert Snodgrass has been included in the Scotland squad for their Vauxhall International challenge match against Denmark at Hampden Park next week.

The 23 year old will be hoping to add to his two international caps that he has already earned in the clash on Wednesday August 10th.

Snodgrass made his Scotland debut in February when he came off the bench against Northern Ireland in a nation`s cup clash.

He earned his second cap in a friendly with Brazil at the Emirates Stadium when he once again came off the bench.

Snodgrass returned to the Leeds side for their final pre season against Newcastle United on Sunday after missing the Rochdale, Sheffield Wednesday and Sandefjord games due to an ankle injury picked up at Motherwell.

Leeds are in Carling Cup action against Bradford City at Elland Road the night before and it is unsure whether he will join up with the Scotland squad before or after this game.

There was no place in the squad for fellow Leeds player Ross McCormack who was involved in both of Scotland`s nation cup games at the end of last season.
