Alan Sheehan who is on loan at Crewe Alexandra looks set to return to Leeds after suffering ankle ligament damage in Saturday`s game at Swindon Town.
Sheehan had joined Crewe to cover for Billy Jones who ironically received a red card and a three match ban against Leeds in mid March.
The Irish defender was settling in well at Crewe and according to reports was having a fine game at Swindon when the injury struck.
The County Ground has been an unhappy hunting ground for Sheehan this season, he was sent off in the first ten minutes of the game when Leeds visited in September.
Sheehan had joined for the remainder of the season but the injury is likely to rule him out till at least the start of next season.
