Alan Sheehan has returned to Leeds United after his loan spell at Oldham Athletic finished after Sunday`s game with Huddersfield.

The defender has been on loan with the fellow League One club for the past two months and Oldham are hoping to extend it for a third month.

If Sheehan does rejoin the Latics, Leeds will not allow him to play in this weekends FA Cup clash at Boundary Park.

Sheehan has enjoyed regular football at Oldham, making eight appearances and scoring one goal.
