Alan Sheehan is expected to spend a lengthy spell on the sidelines after getting a reoccurrence of his hamstring problem during the defeat at Rotherham.

Sheehan suffered the injury with ten minutes remaining and with Leeds having already made their three substitutions they had to play the remainder of the game with ten men.

The defender originally picked up the injury during his time out through suspension; he came on in the 57th minute just to give him a run out.

He`d been declared fit after successfully coming through a few days training.

Gary McAllister speaking on the official website said “He`s struggling now; he will probably be out for a while”

During his absence young 16 year old Aiden White, Ben Parker and Andy Hughes have deputised.
