Samu Saiz is expected to complete his move to Leeds United today.

The 26-year-old arrived in Leeds on Monday to complete his medical after Leeds agreed a deal with his Spanish club SD Huesca but with no announcement, fans were beginning to worry something had gone wrong with the deal but head coach Thomas Christiansen says everything is fine.

“On Samu, he will sign. He made the medical test and I believe that everything will be fine,” Christiansen told The Yorkshire Evening Post.

Leeds beat a host of Spanish clubs for his signature and they are reportedly set to pay £3m for the player who scored 12 goals in the Spanish Second Division last season.

Saiz will become Leeds eighth signing of the summer.
