Leeds Spanish midfielder Samu Saiz says it would be incredible to help the club return to the Premier League.

The 26-year-old has quickly become a fans favourite since his arrival from Spanish side Huesca in the summer and his aim is to help Leeds back into the Premier League for the first time since 2004.

‘The main objective is to climb, it would be incredible to ascend – they march fourth to six points behind the leader – after 13 seasons out of the Premier, they would remember it here for years.’said Saiz, speaking in an interview with Spanish media outlet Marca.

Saiz, who arrived on a four-year deal, made an instant impression when he scored a hat-trick on his debut against Port Vale in the Carabao Cup.

He has so far chipped in with eight goals this season as well as a number of assists and he has been the one shining light in the past month during the clubs poor run of form.
