Leeds United have cancelled the contract of midfielder Andy Robinson by mutual consent.
The midfielder joined Leeds in 2008 but as struggled to hold down a regular place in the side making just 50 appearances.
Leeds boss Simon Grayson told Robinson last summer that he wasn`t part of his long term plans and to actively look for a new club.
Speaking on the official website, Grayson said, “In the best interests of Andy and the football club we`ve agreed to cancel his contract.”
Robinson failed to make a league start last season, making just eight substitute appearances and he finished the season on loan at Tranmere Rovers.
