Jamie Ashdown is having a trial with Yorkshire neighbours Doncaster Rovers following his release at the end of last season.
Ashdown featured for Doncaster in their pre-season friendly at Lincoln City on Saturday as he looks to impress following a troubled time through injury in his last year at Elland Road.
The 33-year-old missed last season after picking up a toe injury that required surgery after being back up to Paddy Kenny in his first season at Elland Road following his arrival.
Ashdown was used in Leeds cup run in both the League Cup and FA Cup, making eight appearances as Leeds reached the quarter final of the League Cup and the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The goalkeeper has joined former Leeds youngster Elliott Kebbie at Doncaster on trial in the past week. Kebbie turned down a scholarship with Leeds after his parents moved to Spain, signing for Atletico Madrid. He returned to England in January when he signed for Premier League side Hull City but he was released at the end of the season.
