Young Leeds United striker Mallik Wilks has signed a new deal with the club.

Wilks has signed a new two-year deal at Leeds keeping him at Elland Road until the summer of 2019.

The 18-year-old has made one senior appearance for Leeds in the FA Cup tie at Sutton United last season and he was an unused substitute in the Carabao Cup win over Newport County in midweek.

Leeds have quickly moved to gain the youngster some first team experience by allowing him to join League Two side Accrington Stanley until January 3rd.
