Former Leeds United youngster Sanchez Payne is having a trial with Yorkshire neighbours Doncaster Rovers.

Leeds boss Brian McDermott released the 20-year-old midfielder at the end of last season after coming through the clubs academy system.

Payne is now training with Doncaster, who won promotion back to the championship last season after one year in League One.

The midfielder made his first appearance for Doncaster in their 4-0 pre-season win at Frickley Athletic this evening.
