Leeds United are heading for another bumper crowd for the first game of 2018 when Nottingham Forest visit on New Year`s Day.

The club have reported that over 31,000 tickets have already been purchased for the game.

The South Stand is already sold out and only a handful of tickets remain in the North Stand.

Fans are being advised to collect their tickets early on New Year`s Day to avoid large queues.

You can still book tickets on the Leeds official website.

719,667 fans have come through the turnstiles at Leeds 23 home league games in 2017, averaging 31,289, with 16 of those games attracting crowds of over 30,000 fans.

Only two of Leeds eleven home games this season have attracted less than 30,000. The midweek games against Fulham (28,918) and Derby County (28,565) are the only two to be under 30,000 and Leeds currently lead the Championship home average this season with 32,305.
