Norwich City manager Paul Lambert felt his side deserved a point in an entertaining game at Elland Road.

Norwich came from a goal down to take the lead halfway through the second half.

A game that had everything eventually finished all square when Leeds substitute Davide Somma equalised with his first touch.

Speaking on Radio Norfolk, Lambert said, “I think a draw was fair, two very good sides and an absolutely terrific game for the Championship. The crowd were brilliant, I think both sets of supporters thoroughly enjoyed it and its one of them games where it doesn`t matter whether your Norwich or Leeds fans I think they will have really enjoyed it.”

Over 31,600 packed into Elland Road; with a strong vociferous following making their way up from Norwich, enjoyed an entertaining game that was a credit to the Championship.

Both the sides, who only came up from the League One last season, look well set to be there or thereabouts in the Championship promotion places come May.
