*On this day in 1987, Leeds travelled to Oldham for the second leg of their Division Two play-off with a slender 1-0 lead thanks to a Keith Edwards goal.

Oldham looked to be progressing through to the final with just seconds remaining when they went 2-0 ahead on the night but once again, that man Edwards scored for Leeds and with no further goals in extra-time, Leeds went through to the final on away goals.
