*Away from the first team, on this day in 1993 the youth team took a huge step towards lifting the FA Youth Cup with a 2-0 win at Manchester United in the first leg of the final. 30,562 fans turned up at Old Trafford as goals from Jamie Forrester and Noel Whelan put Leeds firmly in the driving seat.
