*On this day in 2002, Leeds United went out of the FA Cup at Championship side Cardiff City in what many believe was the start of the downward spiral of the club.

Mark Viduka had given Leeds the lead but the afternoon went downhill after that and Alan Smith also saw red in the 2-1 defeat as Leeds lost the game late on.
