*On this day in 1966, Jack Charlton was so incensed after Valencia goalkeeper Rivero Nito spat at him, big Jack proceeded to chase the player around the Elland Road pitch. Jack finally caught up with the goalkeeper, letting him know in no uncertain terms he was not happy. Charlton was sent off in a bad tempered game that saw the referee take the players off the field for a period to try and calm things down. Three players saw red in a game that finished 1-1.
