*On this day in 1998, Leeds won 2-0 at Crystal Palace thanks to goals from Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Rod Wallace.

The game will be best remembered for a funny moment. Former Leeds player Tomas Brolin was now playing for Crystal Palace and receiving a fair bit of stick in front of the Leeds fans. After a head injury sustained in the game, he wore a fetching bandage around his head. This was sent flying when a clearance from Leeds smashed him full in the face, much to the amusement of everyone other than Brolin.
