*On this day in 1974, Leeds United lost their first Division One game of the season going down to a 3-2 defeat at Stoke City. The defeat ended their 29-match unbeaten run since the start of the season, the longest unbeaten run at the start of a First Division season. It was equalled by Liverpool in the 1980`s before finally being beaten by Arsenal when they went unbeaten throughout the entire season in 2003/04.
