A look back at what happened on this day June 15th in the history of Leeds United.
Leeds have never played a game on this day in their history, so today we look back in the Vital Leeds archives of the last few years to see what was being reported.

Rumours are building that once Leeds United are able to sign players again, they will step up their interest in Norwich City`s Andy Hughes. Leeds are currently unable to sign any new players, or negotiate contracts with current ones due to League rules regarding clubs in administration, but with a Football League decision set for early June it appears that plans are already being made to bolster the squad.
Hughes has a year to go on his contract at Carrow Road, though a number of national newspapers have picked up on the rumour that Dennis Wise is interested in making the 29-year-old.
Leeds United have been drawn at Darlington in the first round of the Carling Cup.
Leeds United summer signing Jason Pearce says he would like to see a few more signings coming into the club before the players report back for pre-season training.
Pearce is currently the only player brought in by manager Neil Warnock since last season finished when he signed a four-year deal from Portsmouth in May.
Warnock promised ‘major surgery` during the summer months as he looks to build a squad capable of winning him his record-breaking eighth promotion in the Football League.
Pearce admits he keeps up to date with what is going on at Elland Road whilst enjoying his summer break and he is hoping to see a few more join him before the squad report back for pre-season training in early July.
Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Pearce said, ‘I do have a look on the Sky Sports website to see if anything is happening. I was obviously the first one to come in and I would hope to see a few more before the start of pre-season.’
Leeds United boss Neil Warnock is hoping to play the Capital One League Cup first round tie with Shrewsbury Town at Elland Road on the weekend before the season starts.
Leeds were initially due to play a home pre-season friendly on Friday August 10th against an unnamed Premier League side but following the Football Leagues decision to allow clubs to play the League cup ties on the weekend if requested, Warnock is hoping now to play Shrewsbury in the League cup instead.
Speaking on the official website, Warnock said, ‘You always want a cup draw at home. It`s our first game of the season and it`s at Elland Road, which is great.
‘I`m actually hoping we can play the game on the weekend before.
‘Usually in these games, you maybe give opportunities to a few players because they fall between your first league games, but we want to get through in the competition, so it`s an opportunity for us.’
