New Leeds United signing Darren O`Dea says joining the club was an easy decision to make.
O`Dea has signed for Leeds on a season long loan from Celtic.
The 24 year old spent last season on loan at fellow championship side Ipswich Town and he is delighted to have put pen to paper on a deal at Elland Road.
Speaking on the official website he said, “I`m delighted to be here. I`d been looking to get away and as soon as I heard of Leeds interest I had no doubts.
“It`s a great set up here and it was an easy decision to make.”
The Republic of Ireland international is now awaiting international clearance, hopefully in time to go straight into the squad for the game at Southampton on Saturday.
He will definitely be missing the midweek Carling Cup tie after being included in the Republic of Ireland squad for their game against Croatia next week.
