Max Gradel is still waiting to make his first international appearance after playing no part of the Ivory Coast`s 3-1 defeat at Poland on Wednesday.

The 22 year old earned his first international call up last week after impressing since getting into the Leeds side this season.

Gradel missed the first four games of the season after his sending off on the final day of last season in the promotion-clinching win over Bristol Rovers.

Since then Gradel has made 12 appearances in the Championship and as started the last four and chipped in with two goals.

The tricky winger joined Leeds last January after impressing whilst on loan from Leicester City.

Gradel trained with the national side ahead of the friendly in Poland but failed to earn a place on the Ivory Coast bench.
