LUFC No contact from City regarding Gonzalez

Leeds United manager Simon Grayson says the club have had no contact from Manchester City regarding goalkeeper David Gonzalez.

A number of media reports today suggest that Gonzalez is on his way back to City as regular number two goalkeeper Shay Given is injured.

Grayson has including Gonzalez in Leeds reserve team fixture at Lincoln City on Tuesday afternoon and speaking on the official website said there had been no contact with City about recalling him, “We`ve had no phone calls in terms of recalling players.
“David`s been working hard in training and he`s pushing hard to get into the squad,” confirmed Grayson.

Gonzalez joined for the remainder of the season on transfer deadline day and he has made just the one appearance so far in a Leeds shirt, when he played in the behind closed doors friendly with York City, when he kept a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw.
