Leeds United head coach Thomas Christiansen is set to make changes to his side for the FA Cup tie at Newport County on Sunday.

Striker Jay Roy Grot is set to start and there could also be rare starts for Conor Shaughnessy, Matthew Pennington, Vurnon Anita, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Mateusz Klich and Hadi Sacko.

Youngsters Jack Clarke, Oriol Rey, Liam Kitching and Tom Pearce are all set to travel with the squad.

Luke Ayling is set to miss out after picking up an injury in the clash with Nottingham Forest on New Year`s Day.

Stuart Dallas, Caleb Ekuban and Ronaldo Vieira all remain sidelined through injury.

Newport will welcome a host of players into their squad for the clash.

Paul Hayes could finally make his debut for Newport. The striker joined Newport in October but he has been unable to play until now because of a registration issue.

Newport will have Josh Sheehan available after he rejoined the club on a permanent deal from Swansea City having had a spell at Rodney Parade last season.

Shawn McCoulsky is also available having extended his loan deal from Bristol City earlier this week.

Mark O’Brien is available after completing his three-match suspension and Sean Rigg and Calaum Jahraldo-Martin could also return from injury.

Aaron Collins is unavailable having joined the club on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers this week having already played in the competition.

Marlon Jackson misses out through injury.
