New Leeds United signing Laurens De Bock says he is ready to get stuck in on the pitch for his new club.

The defender arrived at Elland Road this week from Belgian side Club Brugge on a four-and-a-half year deal.

The 25-year-old will go straight into the Leeds squad for the trip to Ipswich Town on Saturday and De Bock admits he enjoys the physical side of the game.

“I think my strength is my tackling, so hopefully the defence likes it here and I also like rough football,” De Bock told the Leeds United official website.

In his time at Lokeren and Club Brugge, he has picked up 32 yellow cards and 5 reds.
