Midfielder Andy Robinson was delighted to see Richard Naylor put pen to paper and sign a two and a half year contract on transfer deadline day.

Naylor has made a huge impact since initially signing for Leeds on a one month loan deal in January and has been club captain for three of his four games since arriving, Robinson believes that Naylor is just the man to lead Leeds towards the promotion places, speaking on the official website Robinson said “I think it was there to be seen in games this season that we needed a leader, someone who experience and a bit of know how in the central defensive positions”

The 31 year old defender spent his whole career at Ipswich Town (15 years) before joining his hometown club and the team he`s supported since a boy and Robinson thinks that could be a major fact during his time with Leeds, continuing Robinson said “He will sweat blood for the club”

The big question is will Naylor keep the armband when Richardson returns from injury?
