Leeds born defender Richard Naylor who is currently enjoying a one month loan spell at the club says he`s open to offers about joining the club on a full time basis.

The 31 year old has even taken over the captain`s armband for the last two games, he celebrated Leeds 2-0 midweek win against Southend United by scoring the second goal.

Naylor`s main consideration goes with his family, after spending his entire career at Ipswich Town he`s never had the headache of having to move his family around the country.

Naylor who is also a Leeds fan hasn`t ruled signing for Leeds on a longer basis, speaking in the YEP Naylor said: ‘I’m still an Ipswich player at the moment and although the gaffer at Ipswich (Jim Magilton) said I could come here for a month, he didn’t say I could leave permanently. It’s up to the two managers to sort it out, and it’s out of my hands until that happens. But I want to play football and I’m really enjoying myself here”

Leeds who have struggled to keep clean sheets all season have now kept two in the last three games since his arrival, continuing Naylor said ‘(A longer deal) is something I’d be interested in but it is a bit difficult because I’ve got three young children down in Ipswich. I don’t want to live away from them but if there was a situation where I was moving the family up here with me then that would be different. That’s definitely something I’d look at.’

I am sure all Leeds fans would like to see him at least stay for the rest of the season.
