Yorkshire Radio are reporting that Crewe Alexandra midfielder Luke Murphy is undergoing a medical at Thorp Arch.

A number of media sources are stating that the 23-year-old has chosen to join Leeds ahead of Blackburn Rovers and Wolverhampton Wanderers, who had both had bids accepted by Crewe.

The Crewe captain is believed to be costing in the region of £1 million and he would be the first seven figure signing by Leeds since Richard Cresswell signed for Leeds in August 2005.
