Leeds have already brought in four player, Kasper Schmeichel, Billy Paynter, Paul Connolly and Federico Bessone have all arrived on free transfers and with the transfer window about to re open on July 1st, Grayson says he is getting nearing the squad he wants to tackle the Championship.

Speaking on the official website, Grayson said, “We`re getting there. I`m not putting numbers on it, but we`re actively looking to bring players in, build the squad and improve on what we did last year.”

The players will arrive on the recommendation of a talent scout who works in the mid and South American region.

Chairman Ken Bates reiterated Grayson`s comment when he told Yorkshire Radio, “Negotiations are ongoing, I can assure the fans to watch this space, but as ever we don`t comment, until something is done.”
