It`s the final monthly review of the season and after a few good months, could it last?

Leeds went into the final month of the season with a guaranteed play off spot and opponents in Millwall, all that was left to be decided was whether they was going to finish fourth or fifth in the table and who would take home advantage in the second leg.

Leeds unveil their new kit for the 2009/10 season, a very similar kit to the previous one.

The Whites win their final game of the season in front of the biggest crowd in the Football League this season. They beat Northampton 3-0 in front of 34,214 fans which condemns The Cobblers to League Two football and secures fourth spot for Leeds.

Robert Snodgrass`s goal in the final minute was the side`s 100th goal of the season in all competitions.

The club announce that the home leg of the Play Off is a sell out with all 37,000 tickets sold.

Leeds lose the first leg at Millwall, Neil Harris scores a second half winner for the Lions.

The first pre season game of next season is announced, they will travel to York City for the third year in a row for a game on Sunday July 12th.

Leeds suffer play off heartache, Jermaine Beckford missed a penalty early in the second half to put them on level terms in the tie.

Jermaine Beckford wins the Puma Golden Boot award for being the leading goalscorer in all competitions in League One, Beckford scored 34 goals throughout the season including three hat tricks.

Fabian Delph makes the initial 40 man squad for England`s European Championship finals side that go to Sweden in June.

Jonathan Douglas and David Lucas are both to be released by the club when their contracts expire at the end of June.

Leeds are holding discussions with Frazer Richardson about a new deal, Richardson is the only surviving member at the club who played during our Premiership days.

Shock news comes out of Elland Road when the club transfer list leading goalscorer Jermaine Beckford after he turns down the offer of a new deal.

Fabian Delph misses out on England`s European Championship squad when it`s whittled down to 23 for the finals.

Leeds are monitoring the situation around Sam Sodje after he`s released by Reading, Sodje became a huge fans favourite during his loan spell at the club for the last two months of the season.

The Whites will face Premiership sides Blackburn and Burnley in pre season friendlies, Leeds will host Blackburn on July 25th and will travel to Turf Moor to face Burnley on August 1st.
