Leeds United midfielder Simon Lenighan has joined FC Halifax on a one-month loan deal.

The 19-year-old joins former Leeds defender Neil Aspin, who manages the Skrill Conference Premier Division club, who are chasing a play-off place.

Lenighan enjoyed a month on loan with Bradford Park Avenue earlier in the season where he made five appearances.

The youngster joins Paul Green and Luke Varney in going out on loan in the last week.
