Leeds United boss Brian McDermott says he has had enquires for one or two of his players during the summer.
The Leeds boss has already admitted that he may need to move players on this summer to be able to bring players in and McDermott says there have been enquiries and he could look to move players on where he has a surplus in that position.
Speaking on LUTV, McDermott said, “There have been enquiries for one or two players.
‘If you have a surplus of players in a certain position then it makes sense because players can get regular football. If that arises, I will have that discussion with that player.’
Fans will probably be worried that the enquiries are about the clubs player of the season Sam Byram, who has been reported to be the target of a number of Premier League clubs.
McDermott released five players with first team experience at the end of last season and midfielder Danny Pugh is still on the transfer list, having been put on the list by previous manager Neil Warnock last summer.
Pugh spent the second half of last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday and he can play in midfield or at left full back, where Leeds certainly have a surplus of available players.
