Gary McAllister says that he will not break Leeds strict wage budget when looking to boost his beleaguered team in the January transfer window.

Everyone has been pointing at the Leeds defence since early in the season pointing at some calamity defending that have cost Leeds dearly at the back.
Leeds have so far only managed to keep four clean sheets in nineteen League games.
McAllister has admitted that he did try and bring in a number of players during the loan transfer window but the club were unable to reach player`s wage demands.

Speaking in the Yorkshire Evening Post McAllister said “I am working within a budget. It’s not carte blanche and I’m not dining off the a la carte menu. I’m under orders, there’s a wage limit, and people have to drop into that if they’re going to come here.’

With Leeds faltering promotion push then maybe he should offload some of the players that are consistently letting down the Leeds cause, especially at the back and free up some much needed wages to bring in quality rather than quantity.
