Tony Bates will be the man to take charge of the Leeds United v Wolverhampton Wanderers fixture at Elland Road this Saturday.

The Staffordshire official took charge of 40 games last season, showing 98 yellow cards (2.45 per game) and 2 reds (one of them to Darren O`Dea).

He was in charge of Leeds on two occasions last season. The 1-0 defeat at Derby County over the festive period and the 1-0 defeat at Blackpool in April, when he gave O`Dea his marching orders.

The last time he was in charge of a Wolves game was back in the 2007/08 season when they drew 0-0 at Leicester City.

Referee: TONY BATES (Staffordshire)
Assistants: Iain Siddall & Steven Copeland
Fourth Official: Graham Salisbury
