Leeds boss Gary McAllister has some how been overlooked for the September manager of the month award after the team played six and won six games during the month.

The award instead went to Millwall`s Kenny Jackett whose side played one game less than Leeds winning four and losing one.

Even Scunthorpe United could feel hard done by after playing five games and winning five.

It`s the second month in a row that someone at Leeds United has somehow managed to be overlooked for monthly awards.

In August Jermaine Beckford was beaten to the player of the month award even though he scored two more goals than winner Carlisle striker Danny Graham.

Leeds are currently on their best run for nine years having won six games in a row and will hope to continue the great run at Peterborough on Saturday.

With the dreaded curse that goes with the Manager of the month award winner lets hope we continue to win each game and get overlooked for the prize.
