Vital Leeds United is keeping a close eye on how the Leeds players are doing during their loan spells away from the club.

Leeds have six players out on a loan at the moment. The games in the past week have seen the six players reach over 100 appearances between them so far this season with Lewie Coyle, Marcus Antonsson and Luke Murphy have all made at least 20 appearances each.


Lewie Coyle – Fleetwood Town (Season-long loan)
Appearances 20 (0) Total 20 Goals 0


Coyle made his 20th appearance of the season for Fleetwood in their defeat at Wigan Athletic.

The young full-back completed the 90 minutes in the 2-0 defeat.


Tyler Denton – Port Vale (Season-long loan)
Appearances 15 (2) Total 17 Goals 0


Denton played the 90 minutes for Port Vale in their 2-1 midweek defeat by Shrewsbury Town in the Checkatrade Trophy.

He was an unused substitute on Saturday as they secured a 2-0 home win against play-off chasing Cambridge United and ease their relegation worries and lifting them out of the bottom two in the League Two table.

Denton`s appearance in midweek was his 17th of the season for Port Vale.

Luke Murphy – Burton Albion (Season-long loan)
Appearances 20 (2) Total 22 Goals 0

Murphy played 72 minutes for Burton on Saturday as they went down to a 2-1 home defeat to Preston North End.

The midfielder has now made 22 appearances for the brewers this season.

Marcus Antonsson – Blackburn Rovers (Season-long loan)
Appearances 17 (3) Total 20 Goals 8


Antonsson was named the PFA Fans` Player of the Month for November earlier in the week.

He played the 90 minutes on Saturday as Blackburn continued their good run with a 3-2 win at Peterborough United.

Antonsson, who was booked in the game, set up the crucial third goal for Blackburn.

His appearance at Peterborough was his 20th of the season for Blackburn.


Mallik Wilks – Accrington Stanley (On loan until January 3rd 2018
Appearances 6 (13) Total 19 Goals 5


Wilks started the midweek Checkatrade Trophy clash at Lincoln City and he scored the opening goal in the 3-2 defeat.

The young striker collected the ball 25-yards out before firing home for his fifth goal in 19 appearances for Accrington.



Their home clash with Swindon Town on Saturday was postponed due to a frozen pitch.

Ouasim Bouy – Cultural Leonesa – (Season-long loan)
Appearances 1 (3) Total 4 Goals 0


Bouy was not in the Leonesa squad on Sunday as they went down to a 3-1 defeat at Lugo.

He has made just 4 appearances for Leonesa so far this season.
