Former Leeds United midfielder Liam Miller has sadly died at the age of 36 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Miller spent the 2005/06 season on loan at Elland Road making 33 appearances and he will be best remembered at the club for his winning goal in an amazing comeback win at Southampton.

Leeds trailed 3-0 with less than 20 minutes remaining but won 4-3 with Miller the Leeds hero with the winning goal.

The Republic of Ireland international also had spells with Glasgow Celtic, Manchester United, Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers.

The thoughts of everyone at Vital Leeds are with the family and friends of Liam Miller at this sad time.
