Leeds entertain Watford in the Carling Cup on Tuesday night hoping to keep up the momentum after winning their first five games in all competition`s this season.

Leeds

Leeds have a 100% record this season, they have won two games at home and three away.

The Whites are unbeaten at home since January and have won thirteen of their last fourteen at Elland Road.

In the first round they defeated Darlington 1-0 away thanks to a goal from Enoch Showunmi.

Last season Leeds made round four before unluckily losing 2-1 at Derby.

Watford

Watford have had a reasonable start to their season winning two, drawing two and suffering just the one defeat in all competitions this season.

The Hornets only defeat came at Sheffield United where they lost 2-0.

In the first round they defeated Barnet 2-0 away from home but had to wait till extra time to see off their League Two opponents.

Last season they also made the fourth round before Premiership Tottenham Hotspur beat them 2-1 at Vicarage Road.

History

The two clubs have only ever met six times at Elland Road with the home side having slightly the better record winning three to Watford`s two with one being drawn.

Watford won on their first two visits to Elland Road, the first came in a League Cup tie in 1984 when they won 4-0.

They have also met in the League Cup once at Watford with them also winning that game 2-1 in 1992.

The last time they met at Elland Road was in the 2005/06 season when Leeds won 2-1 thanks to two goals from Robbie Blake.

The last time they met was in the 2005/06 Championship Play off final when Leeds didn`t turn up and were beaten 3-0.
