The Whites got back to winning ways on Saturday when a late goal by Bradley Johnson was enough to earn all three points at home against Sheffield United.

So far this season at home they have won three (Millwall 3-1, Swansea 2-1 & Sheffield United 1-0) and lost one (Derby 2-1).

Overall in the Championship this season they have won four, drawn two and lost two and are currently in fifth place with fourteen points.

The Lilywhites finally earned their first away win of the season on Saturday when they took all three points in a 2-1 win at Coventry City.

So far this season on their travels they have won one (Coventry 2-1) and lost three (Swansea 4-0, Sheffield United 1-0 and Burnley 4-3).

Overall they have won two and lost six and are currently in twenty-second place with six points.

History

The two sides have met on 25 occasions at Elland Road with Leeds only just having the slight edge with 11 wins to Preston`s 9.

It`s the first time the two sides have met at Elland Road since a Friday night game in front of the live Sky TV cameras in 2007. Leeds won 2-1 thanks to a last minute winner from David Healy.

Despite the close head to head clashes, Preston have to go back to the 1961/62 season for their last win at Elland Road in a 2-1 win.
