The Whites remained unbeaten in the championship during the month of September, picking up seven points from their three games.

Last time out Leeds battled to a 3-3 draw at Brighton and Hove Albion.

Leeds have won their last three home games having lost their first home game of the season.

After losing 1-0 to Middlesbrough in their opening home fixture, they have beaten Hull 4-1, Crystal Palace 3-2 and Bristol City 2-1.

The defeat to Middlesbrough is Leeds only home defeat in their last nineteen games at Elland Road.

Games at Elland Road continue to provide plenty of goals and there have been fourteen goals in the four home games so far this season.

Leeds are currently in thirteenth place with eleven points from their opening eight games.

Leeds did not play in midweek due to Birmingham City being involved in the Europa League.

Portsmouth
Pompey picked up just three points from a possible twelve during September and they have won just one of their last six games.

Last time out they went down to an injury time winner in a 3-2 home defeat by Peterborough United.

So far this season on their travels they have drawn two and lost two.

On the opening day, they battled to a 2-2 draw Middlesbrough and this was followed by a 0-0 draw at Bristol City.

They have lost their last two games on their travels, losing 4-3 at West Ham and 1-0 at Hull City.

Portsmouth are currently in seventeenth place in the championship, with nine points from nine games.
