Vital Leeds looks at the form of both Leeds and Middlesbrough ahead of the clash at Elland Road on New Years Day.


Leeds have drawn both their games so far over the Christmas period, the last at home against Portsmouth 3-3.

They are now unbeaten in twelve games since last losing in mid October.

So far this season at home they have won six, drawn two and lost four out of twelve games.

Overall they are currently fourth with 40 points from 24 games.



Boro won on their travels at Preston on December 28th, their only game over the festive period to date.

The win was only their second away win of the season and only Crystal Palace have a worse away record in the division.

So far they have won two, drawn one and lost nine of their twelve away games.

Overall they are currently in 21st place with 24 points from 23 games.
