Leeds welcome Darlington to Elland Road this evening for a Johnstone`s Paint Trophy clash with their ever growing injury list getting bigger by the game.

Lucciano Becchio is the latest player to find himself on the treatment table after hurting his ankle during the weekend game with Charlton.

Simon Grayson was hoping to give Ben Parker a run out, the left back has been out injured since hurting his hamstring in the first game of the season.
According to reports Parker has suffered a setback and will not be involved.

Still out are Shane Higgs, Jason Crowe, Rui Marques and Roberts Snodgrass.

Leigh Bromby who played Saturday is still struggling with a foot injury.

Leeds are short of goalkeeper cover with Higgs injured and Fielding on England under 21 duty.

South African striker Davide Somma who joined on transfer deadline day could be involved.

Leeds will not be able to rest many players unless they are willing to pay a £5,000 fine.

The Johnstone`s Paint Trophy rules state that you must play at least six players who have featured in the most games this season and with five of the usual starting eleven injured Grayson doesn`t have many options left.

Ex Leeds United assistant manager Steve Staunton took over as manager of Darlington yesterday, but he will not take over the hot seat until after tonight`s game leaving caretaker manager Craig Liddle in charge.

Jamie Chandler will definitely be missing for the Quakers as he sits out the last of a three match suspension.

Mark Bower is a doubt, he`s struggling with a ankle injury.
