Leeds United welcome Crystal Palace to Elland Road on Saturday in a crucial championship clash with both sides enjoying contrasting starts to the season.

The whites have started the season poorly, winning just one and drawing one of their opening five games.

The results haven`t been helped by defeats to Middlesbrough and Ipswich that both hung on poor refereeing decisions that changed the course of the game.

Leeds only win came in their last home game against Hull City when they ran out comfortable 4-1 winners.

In Leeds only other home championship game this season they were beaten 1-0 by Middlesbrough.

Last time out, Leeds were beaten 2-1 at Ipswich after leading 1-0 at half time. The game changed early in the second half when Aidy White was shown a straight red card.

Stats
The home defeat to Middlesbrough is Leeds only home defeat in the championship since losing to Cardiff last October, a run stretching back eighteen games.

Leeds have yet to keep a clean sheet this season. The last time they managed to keep a clean sheet was in their final home game of last season when they beat Burnley 1-0.

They have only failed to score in one of their opening seven games in all competitions and Ramon Nunez is currently the clubs leading goalscorer having netted on five occasions.

Six different players have scored so far for Leeds this season.

Crystal Palace
Having struggled in the last two championship seasons, Palace have made a good start this time around taking ten points from their opening five games.

Since losing on the opening day at Peterborough, they have been unbeaten in four games with wins over Burnley, Coventry and Hull and a draw with Blackpool.

In their last game, they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Blackpool with Glenn Murray scoring his first goal for the club since his summer move from Brighton and Hove Albion.

Stats
The Eagles have scored in all six of their competitive games so far this season.

Their win at Hull City in their last away game was their first on the road since a 2-1 win at Norwich last October, a run stretching eighteen games.

Despite their poor away form, they have only failed to score in one of their last season away championship games.

Palace have had six different players score for them so far this season with Sean Scannell and Wilfred Zaha leading the scoring with two apiece.
