Leeds United and Carlisle United meet in the first leg of the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy Northern Final on Tuesday night with both clubs dreaming of a trip to Wembley in March.

The Whites suffered their first defeat in eighteen games on Saturday and only their second of the season when they went down to a shock defeat at Exeter City.
Leeds have been drawn at home in their previous three rounds in the competition all against League Two opposition.
They received a bye in the first round, then defeated, Darlington 2-1, Grimsby 3-1 and Accrington Stanley 2-0 to reach the Northern final.

Carlisle
Carlisle suffered a 3-1 defeat at Brentford on Saturday, former Leeds favourite Ian Harte scoring their only goal.
He currently leads the goal scoring charts for the club having netted nine times already this season.
Like Leeds, Carlisle has also only faced League Two opposition in the competition so far this season.
They just scraped past Morecambe in the first round on penalties 4-2 after equalising in the final minute to make it 2-2 and take the game to penalties.
They then defeated Macclesfield 4-2 away, Chesterfield 3-1 away and Bradford 3-0 at home to reach this stage.

History
Despite the clubs only ever meeting eighteen times in total this will be the eighth meeting in the past three seasons.
Leeds have the better record at Elland Road, winning four to Carlisle`s two.
Carlisle have actually got a good record at Leeds in recent times and are unbeaten in their last three visits including another two legged affair in the League One play off semi final in 2008 when they won the first leg 2-1.
Leeds eventually went through to the final when they won the return leg 2-0 thanks to two goals from Jon Howson, the decisive goal coming in the final minute.
Carlisle are the last side to actually win at Elland Road when they won 2-0 at Elland Road just over a year ago.
They also brought to an end a run of fifteen straight home wins when they met in the league earlier this season when the game finished 1-1.
Leeds have the better record at Carlisle and have won on their last two visits, both by the same score line 2-0.
Overall Leeds have won five to Carlisle`s two in their nine encounters at Brunton Park.
